SSG meeting, 2-3 July 2019 at BNAE Issy (Paris)

The ASD SSG meeting #35 has gathered 20 people from Industry (Airbus, Rolls Royce, Dassault Aviation, Thales, SAFRAN, LTS, Liebherr), Ministries (DGA) and Associations (BNAE, AFNeT).
Half of these people participated physically to the meeting at BNAé, Issy (Paris), while the others joined by webex.

Main results of the meeting:

  • Sharing of an updated status on standardisation projects (AP242 ed2, AP239 ed3, ILS specifications), interoperability forums (CAX-IF, CAE-IF, EWIS-IF, PDM-IF), exploitation projects (BoostAerospace).
  • Many updates decided regarding ASD SSG membership and organization.
  • New organisation set-up to reinforce the collaboration with AIA
  • Regular participation from Thales, SAFRAN, LTS, Liebherr, DGA is encouraged. Any additional industry participation is welcomed.
  • The meeting was also an opportunity to validate the content of the ASD SSG July newsletter, to be published the week after.
